The certificate is due by five. The carrier portal has other ideas.

You hold client financial data, carrier access and deadlines that will not move. We build the controls that keep all three standing up. When the carrier login fails and the rater says it is not them, we call both.

Ask one IT question

We work for you.

Our managed IT has no long-term contract and no onboarding fee, and clients stay for decades anyway.

Our clients' systems are watched around the clock by a staffed security operations center, every day of the year. Very few IT companies offer that to a small business, and we do.

We do not advertise and we do not do hard sells. Almost every client has been with us more than ten years. Most have been with us about twenty.

We resell nothing and take no vendor commissions, so nobody pays us to recommend their product.

Within our scope, we document the domains and administrative accounts your business controls. That documentation is yours whenever you want a copy, including when you leave.

The agency system can be working while the submission is stuck

The policy itself is usually fine. It is everything around it: the carrier portal that will not load, the rater that logs everyone out, the laptop nobody set up for the agency's software. When a certificate is holding up a closing, the lender or the landlord does not care which system failed.

We do. For the systems in our scope we call the carrier or the rater ourselves and tell you what we find, so your staff stay on the certificate rather than on hold.

What staff see

The agency system opens.

The management system opens, quotes save, the day looks normal.

What actually broke

The carrier login fails.

Someone changed the carrier password, and something downstream is still trying the old one.

One sign-in can also connect several products. With Vertafore Single Sign-On, AMS360 and PL Rating use one email and password, and TransactNOW signs in through the same system, so one change can reach further than it looks.

"Cloud" still leaves software on the desk

HawkSoft 6 is a desktop app that runs on your office PC. Applied's Epic browser FAQ says the Connection Suite, the components that let Epic work with the browser and Windows together, has to be installed on every Epic browser user's machine, and Applied strongly recommends your IT provider manage it. So the laptop nobody set up is how a quote stalls on a Tuesday.

Email should never have the final vote on where money goes

A request to change payment instructions can land in the middle of a thread that is entirely genuine up to that point. Verify any payment change by calling a number you already have, never one from the email.

Carrier access needs order, not shared passwords

A monitor with its bezel ringed in coloured sticky notes, an open ruled notebook filled in by hand beside the keyboard, and a desk drawer half open with more loose notes in it.

Every carrier adds another login, and nobody puts the cleanup on the calendar. Producers, account managers and service staff need different access, and a departure or role change can leave cleanup that is easy to postpone. Write down who owns each account and what changes when somebody joins or leaves, and give people their own logins. The password on a note beside the monitor already enjoys excellent availability.

Losing the agency system is serious. Losing the submissions, certificates, bond forms, powers of attorney and scanned financials that can live outside it is just as bad. We keep backups isolated from what they protect and prove them with real restores.

A submission should not wait on a login

Ask us anything. One IT question, answered straight, no charge and no pitch.

Which login keeps holding up certificates, quotes or bond submissions? Send us that one.

Do you already have someone doing your IT? Ask anyway. If they have it handled, that is what you will hear.
